You woudn't know when you were suppose to get your first period, so yes, you can get pregnant. But more importantly if you are only 12 please don't have sex.

Jo Jo D,
Do you have a parent or older relative you can talk to about this I think that you need more then the contraceptive talk you need help with your self esteem you cant truly be happy with this decision Let me just tell you a little horror story I lost my virginity at the age of 16 after seeing this boy for about 6 mo. But when I lost my virginity my body was not fully developed even at the age of 16 and I ended you doing some internal damage imagine having to tell you parents that one but I had to because of the damage I needed to be seen by a physician. I can truly say that that was the most embarrassing event in my life having to go to the ER to get stitches. So the stomach ach could be from some internal damage due to your body not being fully developed. I really hope that you used a condom because not only could you be pregnant as others motioned earlier but there are so many STD’s out there some we have curries for but other will stay with you for the rest of you life please be safe. I found this great web cite that can give you more answers http://www.worththewait.org/. Please take care of your body and your mind you only have one you know.

prolly not. but there is a chance that you could be. because you could get your first period in a couple of days which means that you could have been ovulating when you had sex. plus i really doubt that the day after you had sex that you would be pregnant. it takes up to two days for an egg to be fertilized and then it sometimes takes up to a month or two before you even know you're pregnant. so the chances of a 12 who hasnt had her period and had sex yesterday being pregnant is REALLY unlikely.
and by the way i serioulsy hope your kidding about your age. focus on school and maybe while you're there you can take some health classes and learn about safe sex and how you get pregnant. you are wayyy to young to be thinking about sex.

12 and thinking of already being pregnant, Girl you need to wake up and realize that you are way to young to even be thinking of having intercourse you are way to young to be a mommy. Boys shouldnt even be something to think about right now You should be out there doing schoolwork , enjoying friends. You will have a baby when teh time is right and you are older. So odnt go around asking about pregnnacy and first period. That is crazy.

You ovulate 14 days before your period is expected. It is very possible that you are pregnant.

If you are 12 you should be worrying about other things besides getting pregnant. Aids/HIV/Herpes/Gonorrhea/syphilis/chlamydia/bacterial infections those can kill you or damage your body from having any future kids. Don't have unprotected sex if your going to have sex.

I'd have to say no, but aren't you a little young to even be worrying about it? Don't grow up to fast keep your skirt down and your legs crossed!

no. just the mere fact that you haven't had your first ever period yet means that your ovaries are not yet producing egg cells - of course you know that this comprises of half of the ingredients needed to make a baby.
