Now most of the latest browsers having popup blocking facilty. U can get it from the TOOLS menu of the Internet Explorer.
But I think ur problem is not with popups. Some spyware had been installed in ur system. Try for some Anti-Spyware software.

to get rid of spyware/adware on your computer.

Installing the Yahoo Toolber enhances internet explorer to have tabs and an effective popup blocker.
OR
you can also use FireFox and Opera.
( I use Opera) no popups ever....

my sweety. there is 2 possiblity one is u have some adware in your pc. or u dont have any toolbar in your pc. if u dont have any toolbar like msn or yahoo or google toolbar download it and see is it ok now? if still u are facing same problem then u have to scan your computer with any good anti spamware. and delet all adware in your pc. so now it will not make u touble anymore

download the yahoo toolbar and use their popup blocker, or if you are using IE, click on tools, internet options, privacy, and at the bottom click on enable popup blocker. or invest in the norton internet security thingy
