okay... think of it this way...
if your boyfriend/girlfriend hit you physically, you could sue him/her, but if he/she broke your heart how can you sue? i never heard of someone filing a case against someone for breaking his/her heart (nor could there ever be such a case)...
it would be ridiculous to file against someone for breaking your heart, so there's really no way to get back at him/her, unlike if he/she hits you, at least you can get back at him/her by filing a case against him/her. that would appease the heartache, wouldn't it?
haha, just a thought...

As a man, I'd go with the broken heart. In the first place, if you hit me out of anger, you're starting to break my heart, and when I call the police on you and you go to jail, my heart's broken even more. Eliminate something. A broken heart i can get over, having someone I love physically abuse me just makes things bad for the next person I deal with. Feel me?

What a bunch of dumbass bitches. So you would rather have the $hit beat out of you than have your heart broken. What if he takes it too far and beats you until you are dead or beats you so bad in the head that you have brian damage. This really pisses me off. My co-worker died as a result of her husband smacking her around. God what a bunch of idiots.

I think i would rather some one break my heart. Because if they physically hurt you it could do some damage. Where if they just break your heart eventually you would get over it and move on. Where if they physically made damage it might be with you forever.
