Okay I'm asking will all my songs delete if i change my ipod options to manage manually? Is there a program where I can transfer all my old songs to the new computer straight from my ipod?

Your problem is solved. You can always use iDUMP, a software that allows you to transfer your songs of your iPod to a PC. Connect your iPod and run iDump and you'll have access to all your songs, select the songs you want to transfer then pick a destination directory and how you would like your songs to be named. And then sit back and transfer all the selected songs to the PC. After that you can already add them in your music library in iTunes. It is easy to use. =)

Yes "iTunes" is the software that provides an iterface for transfering data from an iPod to a computer and vice versa.
So install a copy of iTunes and transfer your songs from your iPod to your PC.

it is possible, but you need to set up your ipod on your old comp first. set it up where it doesnt auto update when plugged in. go to preferences and ipod when its connected. you should go ahead and look for a program called copy pod to help you out with your music to your new comp if you dont own an external. hope this helps
