It really pisses me off. You had a baby, it's your problem. Why the hell should I get out of your way just 'cause you couldn't keep your legs crossed?

Wow, touch a nerve huh?
Listen, my problem is not with mothers puching their babies around in prams. Generally, I do step out of their way (thank you all very much for assuming I try to throw their babies in to the street). My problem is the arrogance with which they ASSUME we're all going to move.
On crowded buses, streets and trains they barge through like they're on their way to saving the world from an alien invasion. They throw you dirty looks if you don't move, EVEN WHEN IT'S PHYSICALLY IMPOSSIBLE FOR YOU TO GET OUT OF THEIR WAY.

And another thing, why do babies take priority over everyone else? Why is it that at a certain age people just fall off your love radar?
"Babies can't look after themselves."
"Babies are the future"
What am I? The past? Do I not have a right to walk down the street without people hurling abuse at me because I hate walking behind slow people? Damn it people wake up. I have as much respect for mothers as I do for everyone else (which is generally none). My question was why do they think they have the right of way IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES. Why did nobody read the last three words of the question? Don't start venting your hate out on me because you get tired halfway through a sentence.

Well i hate 2 say it, but not all mom's do this, but it should of been taught by ur mother have some respect for a mother with a baby and step out of the way..... also u should not mess with a mother with any children of any age.....cuz the way i see it is a mother is protecting her baby from all kinds of things the heat the cold strangers, and we will protect at all cost......and maybe u just might watch out.....cuz children are the world have some respect.....p.s. let go of some of that anger....i don't think u have a problem with mothers and children, but instead with yourself......whats next kicking dogs...

It might go under the same category as handicapped people in wheel chairs.. why do they think they should have the right of way just because they can't walk??
You, are rude and ignorant. Your legs can move you much faster than a woman can move a carriage. They are big, they are heavy.. and there is a baby inside there that shouldn't be thrown around just to get out of YOUR way.. you sir.. are an @ss.. and I feel bad that your mother didn't beat you as a child.

Because normal thoughtful people would move out of the way and let mother and baby through.Maybe you need to seek counceling for your anger issues. And maybe you need to grow up and takes some totoring from real gentlemen.I hope to god you never ever become a parent

i hope you have a baby one day and ask yourself why people like you don't move out the way when you're left to push the pram. And plus its not all women.. i say you should move out the way for a pregnant chick not a lady with a pram, they got the wheels they can make it around you, but its just polite to move out the way.

Because you're not a gentleman like me. A woman should have the right of way regardless of whether or not she has a baby because females are smaller and weaker than us and should be treated accordingly. I always open doors for women and help them carry their stuff, but then I'm a real man and not a punk like you obviously are.

I don't think people should get out of my way because I'm pushing a stroller. However, most people let me go first, hold doors, etc. because they're considerate, polite, and have a shred of decency--three things which you seem to lack.

I don't think they see is as a right. You could view it from the perspective of their concern for the baby. A mother will avoid anything that could upset her baby and draw unnecessary attention to herself.
