FDNY did do their own report of their response to the 9/11 attack, with the idea of not making the same mistakes twice. Sadly, radio problems contributed to the deaths of some of those firefighters because they did not hear their battalion chiefs calling for them to pull out of the buildings. In certain parts of the buildings, the radios simply didn't transmit and/or receive. Some of the firefighters in the second tower to fall most likely didn't even know the first tower had fallen, couldn't hear their BC advising them of that, or his order to get out. Very sad.

Maybe they are just as sick of hearing about 9/11 AS THE REST OF THE COUNTRY... PUT IT TO REST... and let's all get on with our lives... I AM SICK AND TIRED OF HEARING ABOUT 9 FRIGGIN' ELEVEN.
