If u mean the classification of Pluto as not being a Planet, then Yes...It is scientifically Accepted...Now our solar System has Officially 8 Planets....although there r some candidates waiting for the decision....U can check the link for details...

I don't know--maybe we should grandfather it in, and say OK, it's a planet--we already let it in the door, but nobody else. Like a nightclub. They said it won't count, because now a planet has to be under enough pressure to cause it to be round. Where does that leave our moon? How about some of the moons of Jupitor, Neptune and Saturn?

pluto has been downgraded to a minor planet, also known as a dwarf planet, the same category as the newly discovered xena.
there are other bodies identified and waiting to be classified at the edge of the solar system. a planet has to conform to two criteria: it must be round in shape and be the largest body in its area.

now pluto doesnot includes in main stream of planets . It is included in dwarf planets.
