why do you consider museums a much sexier venue than libraries (or vice versa)?

Well, museums tend to spark ideas, as there's a load of things around to observe and comment on. Kind of a playground for the mind - it'd be a great place for a date if you wanted to get to know someone; hear their comments on the art and discuss the things you're seeing.
The library on the other hand tends to encourage quiet, individual time. Plus, there's the fact that you can't talk in a library - making it kinda hard to have a conversation. Of course, if you're into watching people, the library is full of folks just sitting around reading - could be sexy if you're a voyeur.

Another great question. Its a close one, that is. In the museum you can see so much- history, love, art, life. It fills the mind enriches the senses. But ahhh the library, books they can inspire, enrich, and make your mind think. The author starts the journey and you (the reader) are left to fill in all the subtleties. I think by a hair the library wins because the power is left to only the limits of my mind not others.

Not knowing if it were to go with a person I know, know well, or do not know, I would go with the museum. For the same reason you go to dinner or antiquing than the movies or an amusement park. More chance to connect and converse. At the library you are suppose to be more muted and quiet. Not such a good thing if you are trying to learn about the person you are with. Or get more in tuned with them. At a museum not only is it more visual, and you both have a good ideal what the other is seeing. You can comment on things with out others "shushing" you. So, you do not have to whisper and can have a real conversation.
If it was a gal I knew, or knew well, and I wanted to bed her. I'd take her to the library where I would have to be close to her when having a conversation. Gives me opportunity to stroke her cheek, play with hair, sneak nibble on her ear while I whisper comments about the sexy books like "the Joys of Karma Sutra", or something by Kingsley in front of her.
I would desire to go to the museum 1st but end up later at the library(it has the greatest opportunity to breech the question of sex.

Library is basically for books but a museum opens up a whole new world of excitement that one may have never seen before.
With so many different kinds of museums out there from art to animals. I went to the LaBrea (sp?) tar-pitts and learned about dinosaurs as a child. But I think besides for animal musuems being of of the most fun I'd pick The Wax Museum and see famous people made outta wax. I went to a great out in San Francisco one time....a 10 point museum..hehe!!
fun question..

It depends. There are museums that I can't get enough of--Art Institute of Chicago for example.
But for making interesting discoveries, there is nothing like exploring the racks of a good library. Unfortunately, where I live there is only one that might very optimistically be called good.
Sexy??? What type of museum are you refering to? Museum of erotica?
Otra pregunta. Do you lie awake at night dreaming up these questions?

Generally you only look, see and hear at the museum, whereas a library lets you access things with your hands, including the internet computers! Also, you have lots more places to sit down at the library.

Museum always. My favorite museum in my area.

Who wouldn't want to see Erotic Beach, Poetry of America, The Dream Places a Hand on a Man's Shoulder, just to name a few.
I think the best part of the library is the basement, for privacy. But the stacks can allow for a certain amount of sexual energy to flow but nowadays they're installing video cameras among the stacks so it's not what it used to be. Wink

I'm more of a visual person, so I would have to choose the museum. This way I could visually see the works before me & learn at the same time!
