I'll take Seattle for example, they lose 11 straight then beat the Yankees 2 out of 3. But again every team seems to play their best against the Yankees. And also draw the most fans everywhere they go

Quite simply, the Yankees are the best professional franchise ever! Even though they haven't won the Series since 2000, they are still looked upon as the king of the mountain! Every little David tries mightily to slay the gigantic Goliath. The Yankees are also the best road-draw, ever notice that? I think a lot of teams(and fans) are jealous the Yankees have the money to buy players. Nothing wrong with that, as long as they pay their taxes, right?

Because teams, no matter what sport you play, always want to beat the best. Would you be geared up to play the Royals? The Yankees are the most storied franchise in professional sports...they are the biggest draw around. The lineup they put out there on a daily basis, might be one of the best lineups ever assembled. That is going to bring out the best in anyone. It means the world to the weaker teams to say they beat the Yankees. When you are winning, everyone hates you...and they want to say they beat you.

It's the price for being the best.

The Yankees are the best draw in baseball meaning that they get the biggest crowd everywhere they go. Home teams usually play better before a big crowd its like they feed off the energy. Seattle is abysmal they should never take two of three from us but they played before three sellouts. nu-ff said.

All the other teams come to beat the Yankees. They are perceived as arrogant and have that highest payroll. The teams can not win anything else so the managers get them geared up to beat the yankees. It is there highlight for the season.

My first game became a doubleheader at Connie Mack Stadium interior the late 60's. The Phillies performed the two the Cardinals or the Reds, using fact the two communities had pink uniforms. i became 5 or 6 on the time. My grandmother(a diehard Phillies fan) took my brother and that i. My Uncle and cousins have been sitting in a distinctive part of the stadium. I bear in ideas that my one cousin have been given scared whilst a participant hit a foul pop on the roof over their heads. My cousin became scared the ball might fall off the roof. i do no longer bear in ideas who won, yet I had a large time.

My White Sox lost got swept in New York and my Sox played like they were on Valiums. That isn't always true. But usually teams will want to play their best, due to the Yankee legend and the big stage. But not always.

you always save yourself for the best.

Yankee is the best team . they(opposition) give their heart out when they playing Yankee.

it goes for all of them(teams playing against Yankee) ,

Since being a Yankee fan `YOU AND ME CAN NEVER REALISE THAT FEAR` the other teams have when they playing Yankee.

And that simply prove how hard it is to be in this Yankee team cause you have to always face best of opposition,

But -- WE WILL SURVIVE !!!! and just see how we gunna come back.
