Taj mahal build by Mugal emperor Shajahan memory of her loving wife Mumtaj
Construction began in 1631 and was completed in 22 years. Twenty thousand people were deployed to work on it. The principal architect was the Iranian architect Istad Usa; it is possible that the pietra dura work was coordinated by an Italian artist.

We have all heard how the Taj Mahal, which is considered one of the great wonders of the world, was built as the preeminent expression of a man's love for a wife. That it was built by emperor Shah Jahan in commemoration of his wife Mumtaz. However, in our continuous effort to get to the truth, we have recently acquired some very important documents and information. There is evidence that the Taj Mahal was never built by Shah Jahan. Some say the Taj Mahal pre-dates Shah Jahan by several centuries and was originally built as a Hindu or Vedic temple/palace complex. Shah Jahan merely acquired it from its previous owner, the Hindu King Jai Singh.

you will be shocked that Tajmahal was not build by Sharjaha... but
in real it was Shiv Temple and one more it was 300 to 400 old..
so there is no chance that Sharjaha build that...
one more that its Real name is "TEJO MAHALYA"..
For more:
see this site and check the all proof that Taj Mahal i mean Tejo Mahalya is a Hindu Temple- Shiv Temple..

Till last week i was in same decision that Taj Mahal was built by Shah Jahan.
But last week i came to know by my friend's mail that it is a Hindu Temple which was captured by him. He has hided all the evidence in the temple by the labourers.
May be i am not sure.

In December 1631, the fifth Mughal Emperor, Shah Jahan, commenced the construction of one
of the greatest monuments of all time, the Taj Mahal. It is a mausoleum built in the memory
of his beloved and favorite wife, Mumtaz Mahal, fulfilling one of the promises
that he made to her as she lay on her deathbed:
To erect a monument to match her beauty
