My younger son (13) has to participate in a fancydress competition for his school festival. The competition rule is that it has to be essentially a female character, since this is a boys school. And it also should be an indian theme. Any good idea for this...and how should i dres him as a girl? What dress makeup and accessories should i use?

Chandramukhi is the best i can think of. You can also think of dressing him as a lady doctor, or nurse. Another good idea is to dress him as a hindu bride, rajasthan bride or bengali bride....if you do so i am very much sure that he could become first.
I hope you know how to dress him as a bride. the following links would give you hints...

My suggestion is to make a girl , you have to make a typically gujarati girl wearing a ghaghra and choli with full of accessories as playing a garba on the stage.
