On this weeks episode of Desperate Husbands...Bill, Ted, Bob and Marty go to the sports bar, watch the big game and knock back pitcher after pitcher of Budweiser. Occasional lamenting about their sad little lives can be heard in between commenting on the bar girls hooters.

I think the men on this show are just as desperate as the women.
Could anyone be more unfulfilled than Carlos? What about poor dearly departed Rex? Tom HAS been a desperate househusband himself when Lynette went back to work. Mike too has had a terribly bad bunch of baggage handed to him.
Mary Ellen's hubby isn't a model of an easy breezy person.
The whole show centers around desperation.

Desperate husbands would be a bunch of guys playing poker, smoking cigars, drinking beer, etc. They'd be having a great time and there would be very little drama, except when they go on a fishing trip or something and decide to hit a strip bar on the way home.

Boring TV just about sums up what we'd be watching.
Desperate Husbands sneak around and ultimately leave. In the meantime, they whinge, they drink, they kill animals if they're legally empowered to do so and they make huge, life-shattering mistakes.
Hold on...that's "Cops" isn't it?

It could be hilarious. But they would be just as catty. They just do it in different ways.
The fights won't be nearly as much fun though!
