You are right. We should be executing people who kill instead of merely sending them to jail.
THey are no better than animals.

Well they do say that animals are allowed one bite and then next time they are put down. There is no such thing as a bad animal, to me its the owners most of the time that havent got a clue how to raise them. I have always been a believer in an "eye for an eye" so yes i agree with your statement. There are too many people in prison enjoying lives of luxury and outside parents and relatives are grieving for their loves ones.

This is because of the mistaken impression that once an animal gets the taste of human blood it will revert to its wild state and continue to do it.
This law has been around for a very long time, note dogs worrying sheep and other livestock will end up in the same condition.

G.G has it on the mark- however in my state, if a unfavorable wild animal (bear, wolves, tigers, buffalo, etc) gets loose, they are shot with purpose to kill- too risky and tranqulizers take too long to artwork, quite whether that's mauling a human as you're waiting for the tranq's to artwork. Any "non risky" animal-zebras, ungulates, camels, etc are in many situations merely tranq'ed because of the fact they are in many situations no longer a without delay hazard to human beings. The tiger develop into appearing out that's nature, and develop into in the tiger's bounds of what to do, yet human risk-free practices develop into in contact- what if the tiger have been given out of the zoo and ran loose interior the city? what share deaths could you think approximately "justifiable"? Human risk-free practices is the main project in all zoos, and the zoo acted in this concern.

Even though as a Christian, Christ said to forgive, some things cannot be forgiven, like raping and torturing and killing little children. Maybe the Old testament was more correct An Eye For An Eye. And as you say, most animals will only attack in defence or for food, they are usually the innocent victims.

Animals that have attacked humans are likely to repeat the attack and must be either destoryed or sometimes placed in zoos. Most man-eating tigers are repeat offenders, a giant grizzly bear killed in Alaska during an attack on a hunter was found to have consumed two other men prior to that attack. Crocodiles do the same, and so do sharks. Dogs are the same and their cousins the wolves will stalk man as prey.

It is because animals don't know any better and will do it again, whereas humans are supposed to learn by our mistakes. No I don't think capital punishment is right in any circumstance.

Interesting question, should we bring back capital punishment? in some ways its easy to say yes but then consider all the miscarriages of justice and the flawed criminal justice system. People can be set free for bein wrongly imprisoned but if they're dead they're dead.
