No, Desdemona was faithful to Othello. Seriously, though, imagine if Hollywood did a remake and cast OJ as Othello. How hard a time do you think they'd have getting an actress to get on screen with him?

Because they are both black and killed thier wives? That is pretty thin don't you think. Othello was a leader, a hero and was betrayed by his close friend who longed for power. Othello is a tragic hero, and OJ is just a tragic joke. There is not a really good basis for comparrison here.

you know, that is a really good observation! You could probably do a master's thesis on that. And even though OJ was found innocent, you could still add in that thesis that it is part of the Shakespearean tragedy.....I like that obvservation a lot:)!
