my bf and I broke up after a fight. I love him and he says he still loves me, we just have too much to deal with. He is leaving for basic but I have hopes for us when he comes back. That is 6 months away tho and I don't know if he will wait that long. He is a very passionate person...but he is also really honest. He says he loves me and always will...should I tell him to go and find someone new or stick it out and hope for the best when he gets back. His best friend told me to stick it out. I have never had to deal with this so if someone could help it would be much appreciated.

If you love him as much as you're saying, you'd sitck it out, especially if getting back together is pretty much a definite. However, if you're already considering getting someone new, it doesn't sound like to me that you love him as much as you think. So maybe the best thing would be to move on. If it was meant to be with this guy, it'll happen. Life is too short for be waiting around for someone who may not want you. Still confused? Talk to the bf and ask him what he wants you to do (he's suppose to be really honest right?) He'll let you know if there's anything to be waiting for.
