Hey, i'm kinda clueless with computers so could anyone tell me; Can your personal information be at risk by just going on a website? and Can you get viruses from just goin on a website?

yes. as far as going on websites and getting a virus, most definitely.

as for your personal info. never plug a computer into a modem if you want to protect the information on it.

Yes A lot Of Company Will sell Your Personal Information to Commerical website so they can know what you like and what you do not , so they can start selling you Stuff

Yes some website Most of it it is Porno websites it has alot of Viruses
But Otherwise if i were you
i will get a Anti Virus and it should take Care of Those Small Viruses

Yeah, you need to install virus checkers, firewall and spyware to keep yourself safe and pop-up advert free. There are several really good free programmes available on the net. Just type in free firewall, free anti-virus etc. I'm sure you can download them easily and then you are safe.
