Do you think all of the people who whine about them should take the bus instead of whining and still filling their car up? Gas prices are as a matter of fact based on the supply-and-demand laws.

Ok let me add a second question, if gas suddenly became $10 a gallon. Would you still fill up your tank? If you couldn't afford it what would you do?

People gotta have something to whine about - - - Gasoline is considered a safe topic to whine about. A majority of Americans actually believe that Cheap Gasoline is Guaranteed in The Bible. Actually it is all smoke & mirrors. WIthin a few years most vehicles will be hybrids getting sixty miles to the gallon and a gallon will cost around ten bucks so it will all even out. It should also be noted that Oil Company Honchos are like Star Athletes everyone complains about their high salaries yet no oe is boycotting the game. Peace.

I complain about gas prices all the time. I still fill my car up all the time too. This is because I live 20 mi. away from where I work (I have to go where the money is, not that I have much of it) and have no public transportation to take. I live in a rule area and don't have anyone I can car pool with either. So I'm pretty much stuck, unless I move to the city, which is not going to happen, for one thing I don't have the money too, for another it's too crowded for me. So the fact that you generalize everyone in the same category. And there is no supply-and-demand to it. We are not going to run out of oil it's just a ploy the gov. uses to raise prices. I mean seriously why do they think they need to make billions of $ every quarter? It's gouging if you ask me!

Yes, with gas prices running amok, I do think people should be taking public transportation.

Matter of fact I think this might be the next big money maker. If you have a bus service which is reliable, goes where the public wants it to go, and is affordable, I think people will take it.

I think we need to put our tax dollars to work on this issue, and on Health care.

people buy gas because THEY HAVE TO.

I think they have a right to complain, but I also think it makes no difference if you complain, the prices will still go up.

As for taking the bus, maybe if they made public transportation a little more tempting, maybe then people wouldn't have such an issue using it.

If you want lower gas prices don't use as much. It is as simple as supple and demand. As far as the people who complain about it... if gas was cheap they would complain about something else.

Don't care ... Don't Drive!!!!
Carbon Monoxide is the leading cause of air pollution.
Gas like alcohol and tobacco should be taxed to the hilt. Gas is still way too cheap. Maybe if it was $10.00 per liter then people would consider public transportation.

Yea, but they are RIPPING US OFF TO CHASE THE ALMIGHTY DOLLAR!!!
I'm tired of being screwed. Just another monopoly cashing in on the fact that we have no other reasonable alternative.
