I've never actually seen one in person, but David Attenborough says they're real and he wouldn't lie to us. If they did take over the world, he would probably be their leader anyway, so it wouldn't be too bad. Can't be worse than it is now anyway! By the way, I read in the paper this morning that baby sharks eat each other in the womb -a female shark starts off with about 40 embryos and only gives birth to two -the rest get eaten before they get born. That's a bit harsh in my opinion! I think sharks are the ones to keep an eye on, they're shifty.

I've also heard that they are much cleverer than us.
Perhaps they don't have the urge to 'take over' and rule in the same way we do.
I'm not really a 'greenie', but I think they're much cleverer than us. They live happily in harmony with the environment, like most other animals. They don't feel the need to adapt their surrounding to suit themselves.
How clever are we really, when we've polluted the planet and live on the verge of wiping ourselves out of existence through nothing but greed?
Rant over.
ithankyou.

Do you not watch the Simpson's. beware the dolphins I love em ( not in that way"
I know a story about a real smart dolphin, who saw his mate the squid just floating in the water. The squid had a really bad tummy ache and the dolphin offered him a ride on his back. The dolphin took him miles out to sea to a killer whale, dropped him off his back and said " hey killer whale, heres that sick-squid I owe you"

I'm not clear what you are asking. Yes, dolphins are corporeal, they occupy space on this plane of existence. No, dolphins are highly intelligent aquatic mammals; as such, the have no interest whatever in trying to "take over the world" ...
Besides, after the mess we monkeys have made of it, why would they want it?

They are certainly real, with the Bottlenose type being particularly cute and friendly. They are intelligent but not cut out for technological progress or world domination. They are designed for swift movement through water, thus lack dexterous appendages (hands and fingers) and for that reason cannot manipulate their environment. This proves to be an insurmountable problem with regards to designs for global conquest.
