Do You agree particularly those living in Europe/USA that the cause for Muslim world miseries are not the USA rather our own leaders. I have lived in USA and have not found any body working against us rather we ourselves behave erratically. We are not practicing Islam in its true spirits. Muslim countries are the worst places to live. In my idea the way European and American are living is the perfact Islamic way of living except one things that is free sex. Illegal sex practices are probably more common in Pakistan and Saudi Arabia the only difference is that we do not confess openly. I know many of my friends having extra marital sex relations.

I add that in all the terrorist plots why our stupid Muslim brothers(Though in strict definition they are not Muslim) are implicated. It is not only causing genuine hatered against Islam rather it is forcing the unbised non muslims to turn against Islam.

You are absolutely right in what you say! The western countries all allow freedom of religion and do not interfere with your right to practice your religion as your faith requires. I have lived in Saudi Arabia and I was shocked at the number of sexual perversions that go on there, precisely because it is suppressed so much! Yes, there is a lot of sexual freedom in the western cultures, but you are not required to take part in it, are you? The radical Muslim leaders of today seem to be in some kind of frantic hurry to enforce Islam on everyone. This has never worked in human history. The only thing that works in getting people to accept your religion is living it by example! If you live a moral and happy life, then people will notice that and be more willing to take part in it. By showing an example of violence and terror, you will drive people away. Just my humble opinion :)

Does the entire west believe all Muslims are bad? I don't think so. But many of the respondents support the contention of the asker that for a few or a group (maybe large or small, whatever) of Muslims, the entire Muslim nation is suffering. Is not it a generalization in learning, as Arrow says? Little learning calls for generalization. It's a very dangerous thing. Be aware.

I'm not Muslim either I am Christian but heres an answer and its an honest to goodness one I am not bashing you in anyway.

I'm pretty sure that the Muslim belief paralles with Christianity in the fact that all people are sinful by nature correct? If that isnt true I appologize for being ignorant of your religion but if it is true wouldnt that answer your question?

No religion is filled with 100% perfect followers, Islam and Christianity both have their so called "believers" who do the wrong thing.

In short your religion will NEVER be perfect b/c everyone sins. And neither will my religion.

dear fried, behavioral science suggests generalization is a very common symptom people tend to show in a very early stage of their learning process. don't you know that every effect has a cause. clapping needs to hands to join. why blaming muslims only? there are many other more important questions to be addressed but, yet, would you please answer me why not you spending your time to correct your muslim brothers (if at all) instead of blaming them? if you think you are a true muslim, then set out to preaching Islam first to yourself, then to your family, then to your neighbors and friends, and so on.........don't just post a question or opinion generalizing a whole nation in a common term.

Another Christian here. You are a brave soul to speak the truth. Many Muslims will denounce you and treat your honesty with disdain. Thank you.

I have always said that the best way to look at any problem like the one you speak of is to look at the home front rather than make excuses. Your frankness should be applauded. Well done.

There still many things that are missing from your statement. When you figure those things out then and then only can you speak the total truth
