It's all about Bush's needs, he wants something, be it covering up tracks from a guilty past or a personal grudge he has with a few individuals in that area. Maybe he is urged on by our greedy oil tycoons here in the US.

Yes, we have done more bad than good by being there, most wars in that region only last for about 4 years for us, only coming home when we the people finally come to our senses and see around propaganda.

The war was started on lies, we have no basis for invading Iraq, it would be like a small group of US individuals bombing Japan and them attacking America and why not, invading Canada as well.

Our grudge for the plane attacks only concerned Afghanistan and Bush's old time partners, the Bin Ladin family. Bush used manipulation to get his way and cause a serious dilemma for our people.

We should recall our troops, take the 3,000 worth of American lives lost in vain, and leave the area that has been in war for the last 5,000 years.

Bush says "no" because his entire policy in Iraq from the outset was to once-for-all establish a viable democracy in Iraq. To leave now is, in all likelihood, to allow the country to spiral downward into an internecine civil war. A terrible civil war could only threaten the stability of the world oil markets and the security of the whole region. Also, the defeat of American ambitions to implant democracy there would be devastating (for the U.S.) to the war on terrorism (which is thought to be connected to the lack of democratic-style governance in the Middle East).

Simple, if we say what day were gonna leave the militants will just sit back and wait, build their strength, and tear the new government in Iraq a new ***. Imagine if we did that in WWII Japan and Germany would have stayed in their country till we left, then finished what they started the day we were gone. It would be a race to see if we pull our troops out faster than they could fly in.

Bush unfortunately has never got anything right. He is aware of that and doesn't want to compound this by setting yet another goal that will fail.

Boy,

one has to contest the other. this is the name of the game. no one knows who is right but they are sure they have to beat their opponent in either way. they know common citizens are charmed by their last and loud saying. so they would be shouting contesting each other.
