It's a great challenge, starting at 17- points and losing their champions.
'Serie B' is always a struggling championship. Last year Atalanta won with 81 points, 24 wins, 9 draw, 9 loss. Cesena caught play-off at 6th place with 66 points, 18 wins, 12 draw, 12 loss. I guess it's better to Juventus managers and coach to schedule a final result in regular season at 6th place.
To reach 66 points starting from 17- they must gain something as 25 wins, 8 draw, 9 loss. It's a difficult task, not a mission impossible. They must play slightly better then Atalanta did in the past season.
Atalanta line-up was Taibi; Natali, Carrera, Sala; Foglio, Zenoni, Zauri, Berretta, Bellini; Comandini, Bianchi. Good players in 'serie B', and they deserved to win, but they were so far from Juventus line-up. I guess their formation could be an amazing 3-4-3 (Lippi's favorite tactic when Deschamps was playing in Juventus) modified in 3-4-1-2 with Marchionni as play-maker immediately after forwards: Buffon; Legrottaglie; Chiellini; Balzaretti (Birindelli); Giannichedda; Tudor; Nedved; Zanetti: Marchionni; Del Piero; Bojinov (Volpato or Palladino). This assuming Ibrahimovic, Trezeguet and Camoranesi will leave Juventus as well as Kapo, Kovac and Zebina. It's a great team and they could gain 83 points. They need 3 wins, 1 draw and 1 lost every 5 match. Seems possible to me.
Of course, Buffon, Del Piero, Nedved are the team's core, but Bojinov is my best pick in next ship. He's young, he likes to play in such a great club, he was relegated in bench in the past ship and will show great revenging attitude. Now he isn't Ibrahimovic and Trezeguet replacement, he's in the default line-up.
Nedved was close to retiring, but he loves Juventus and Turin and he has a challenging spirit.
Deschamps is a great coach.
Alain Elkann show how Agnelli family want to support Juventus.
So I guess they have 80% chances to come back in 'serie A'. If only one between Camoranesi, Trezeguet and - it's unlikely and this disappoint me - Ibrahimovic will stay in Juventus, chances rise to 90%.
Updating it:
i) Deschamps has tried a standard 4-4-2 with good results, having Marchionni and Nedved playing together. I guess it's a little too careful, but players are in training and out of fitness, and he had Marchionni and Nedved playing together, this is really good, because opponents will play against Juve with a great defensive attitude, and without offensive players both teams could share match control.
ii) The GREAT news is both Camoranesi and Trezeguet are still in the Club! I hope they get their ultimate decisions. With both of them an 83-points targest is really close. And they hired Boumsong, another good young player.
BUT
The WORST news isn't a technical one.
Juve decided to switch to Law Courts. They were already menacing this decision, but those poor blind judges haven't changed the 2nd judgment. FIFA hearing this had already menaced Italian Football Federation (FIGC) such a decision should involve fines and penalties to FIGC, Italy team, Italian Clubs playing in UEFA tournaments. FIGC had already answered saying 'if this would happen, Juve would be over penalized'.
The questions were placed yesterday, they are talking about
* exaggerate penalties
* unbalanced judgment
* if FIGC would reconsider the penalties, they will leave Law Courts and return at Sport Courts
Juventus is asking
i) To be replaced in 'serie A'
ii) If there must be a points penalty, they agree to be replaced in 'serie A' starting at 17- points
ii) To be paid in full - 70 millions € if returning in 'serie A', 130 millions if they weren't allowed to join 'serie A'
FIGC and CONI (the all sports Federation, controlling FIGC) lawyers said they refuse Juve request.
Now, let's see what it will happen, but it's sure it won't be an easy task.

-17 points is too much of a decifit to realistically get them into the position were they can be promoted into Serie A... We'll see them back in Serie A in the 2007/ 2008 season!!

According to her it's a crime 'to take the mickey out of her' Anyway, who gives her a right to the title 'Juventina'. Any Juventus fan can be a Juventina. She should wake up to reality.

I do. Even though they have a seventeen point deduction. They could still possibly make it back to SerieA even if they don't top SerieB
I don't support Juve by the way.

This Juventina does; if AC Milan had been demoted it would have been for only a year. Even the year is too long. But no matter what happens, I'm a Juventina for LIFE.

i have been a juve fan since i knew anything about football. but i dont think they can do it in one season... with all the sales of their top players ( there really is no loyalty in the game anymore...) and points deduction.. its gonna be a miracle if they pull it off... but go juve!! in football, you can never know what will happen..
