I loved the summer. Spent as many days as possible chilling out in the garden, siping cold beer and having BBQs. Had a paddling pool on standby to cool down when it got to hot. Its been ace.

I for one am glad the summer is going, but here in S. Europe we topped the thermometer at 49ºC which is about 120ºF. I have had enough! Roll on, sweet gentle October, roll on!

I can honestly say im glad all that stinking hot weather has gone. I hated it. My ideal summer would be about 25deg with sun and a warm breeze.

it was too hot for me during the heatwave, I don't like it that hot. i am more of a winter person, those gorgeous bright sunny days when it is crisp and cold, the smell of Christmas in the air, mulled wine, winter food like casseroles, and the perfect excuse to snuggle up with a loved one watching old movies, roll on Winter!!

weve had a good run still got me tan so im happy as larry untill it starts to frost! then ill be mad coz id of forgoten how good the summer was lol thats life

i didn't get to enjoy it because i was in cornwall on an army base with cadets and the only time we did go out it poured down with rain.
but that was nice anyway.the warmest shower i'd had while we were there.
(the boiler was broken)
but i'll try to enjoy the fall.thats lovely too you know...
