tFor those of us who have this type of connection for real, this is not an issue. You are borne into the links of a place. You may get married into another kingdom or domain - but this is not a real reason for a relationship now a days. So, the question does not have a real answer. Nobility does not have this choice anymore in a parliamentary democratic royal system.
