So many people around the world are thieves and they will do just about anthing to steal your information. Usually it is you that gives the information to them, just not knowing it. Be careful and observe anything ut of the ordinary. Usually Internet accounts will not need your SS# or Date of Birth after you have already established an account.
Half of the hackers out thier are wanna-be's. The one's who are ligitimate found out how to do things by other people telling them. Kids are lazy these days, they would be much more efficent testing thier own computers first.

Files, programs, attachments, images, documents can be unsafe depending on their source, sometimes due to hackers or more appropriately "crackers." Malicious websites are out there, but you'll probably only arrive at one through a bogus link in a spam mail (if you click it). Email attachments are still the most common form of virus and malware transmission. Protect yourself.
And by the way, the information on the net is not unsafe in any way, unless you're easily influenced, impressionable, or just plain stupid. For example, here's some "information:" WALKING OFF THE END OF A CLIFF IS AN EXCITING ADVENTURE. If you're a moron, then yes, that information is dangerous to you. The rest of us can worry about online data.

Hi Harry, there are safe places and less-safe places on the net.
What is safe depends on your definition of safe.
So when you want to have a safe place on the net you can
obtain a heartbeat-id number. This will be your safe portal.
No malware can then interfere with your activities anymore!

Well, I have to agree with Kiko. It is unsafe if your a complete idiot. If your dump enough to believe stupid information on the Internet, then your a idiot. If you have enough common sense to form your own opinion, then chances are you wouldn't be listed in the stupid category.
