whilst i was on the phone to bt i was on hold for about 3 hours and im not at all surprised about telewest cause when i lived in bristol and we used telewest they seemed to take forever to answer the phone

if your not in a contract with telewest then go with sky. i had telewest for 2 years and we had nothing but trouble. everyone i know who has been with them says they are rubbish. i had to have 5 replacement boxes, faulty phone line (had a crossed line and was receiving other people's calls) broadband interfered with the tv to such an extent the tv was unwatchable which you wre on the web.
i've been with sky for 2 months now and the only problem we've had is we lost telly for a few mins in a really bad storm. we lost tv from telewest on quite a few occassions when workmen had drilled through cables etc.
and the telewest call centre is always like that, esp in the evening. come to think of it, they still owe me over £100, i better get in the queue for them as well!

Not more than two minutes if it's an 087X number that can't be back-converted to an 01- or 02- number which I get for a flat fee of 4p per call, regardless of where, when or for how long.
I once got so pissed off for having to wait so long on an 0870 number that I sent them a bill for it - AND THEY COUGHED UP!!!!!!!

Over two hours to aol and It WASNT free....and they never sorted the problem out.
thing was, it was about 2 hours every night, when the phone bill came in it cost me over £30.
Moral of the story? Never go with aol!

I used to sit and wait, can't remember the longest I have been on hold. Now, I just put the phone down, can't be bothered waiting.

called on a toll free number.....i guess thats why they keep so less agents ...... held for more than two hours so i wached de movie whilst holdin it
wen de agent did come, we talked for less than ten mins!! :D
