No, my mum is one. You really should park legally. They are only there to ensure that the law is kept. There would have been a sign up, saying No Parking before you turned your engine off. Next time, check. They were not wearing a Gestapo outfit, and if you knew what the Gestapo really did, then you would not say that. Traffic Wardens are only upholding the law.

Silly little lollipop - why did you answer if you have no experience of the problem?
I knew an elderly chap who was unloading some stuff from his van when he was 'chastised' (threatened) by two meter-nazis, and he told them that he was unloading quite legally and if they didn't piss off he'd hit them over the head with an iron bar. To this they replied that he would then (obviously) go to prison, so he replied: "Yes. I'll get five years maybe - I'm an old man - but with good behaviour I'll be out in two, whereas, YOU'LL still be in hospital!" They left him unloading!!!

no longer fairly... He became basically doing his job, an same because the soldier that were given killed. And clone of that soldier, the site visitors warden, were given what he don't have for doing that job. per chance whoever it became that parked illegally, the offenders for the attack on the warden, and also you too, of direction, would want to have slightly more desirable note of for the regulations of the land that the soldier that died became attempting to guard.

If you parked or stopped in an illeagal place, then I have no sympathy.

Although saying that, the wardens should have moved you on there and then, unless, of course, you gave them some lip.

Traffic wardens are members of the police force, so I wouldn't recommend assaulting them. I'm impressed that two people could surround a car though- it must be tiny!

I've never had a situation like that, no, but I HAVE assaulted some traffic wardens...sexually, anyway. My husband's one, before you and whoever else gets all up in my face. And I'll have you know, he started it!

Never come across a traffic warden, which I am pretty chuffed about...but I can't really understand why people dislike them, they have a job to do...no one forced you to park where you shouldn't.

They are sadists who take pleasure in other peoples misery. They are insecure, insignificant people and this job allows them to go on a power trip. Dont understand how anybody could do this job willingly.

yeah, I hate those people, they're like vultures, the second you stop your car they'll be buzzing round you with fines. I've never assaulted one, but my dad has come close many many times.

sorry to hear about your fine though.
