Completely Agree.
The US / Britain / Israiel Forgets that there has been many previous attempts to gain control of palestine (Jerusalam) but no one could hold it for long. Final, it will belong to muslims only.

If they planned to destroy Hezbollah before attacking Iran, they didn't do a good job.

Israel is the superpower in the region. For them not erradicating Hezbollah is loosing the war.
For Hezbollah, being the underdog, not loosing is a huge victory.

Hezbollah is alive and well. They help rebuidling the southern regions of Lebanon. They have been there handing out bundles of cash long before the U.N. returned and handed out bottled water. They gave the people money to rebuild their homes. Now who do you think will win the hearts and minds of the people? Those who have killed more children than soldiers or those who gave money away for rebuilding?

A war against Iran would trigger Syria to jump in. Now how clever would be a war against two (possible 3) fronts. Iran in the east, Syria in the west and Hezbollah bothering Israel again. China and Russia would not condine the attack on Iran and certainly use their veto power in the U.S. again; making it a unilateral war yet another time. The world (other than lap dog T. Blair) would not participate and Israel and the U.S. would be left holding the bag.

Was has never been a good idea. NEVER EVER.

Israel " tried to" destroy Hezbollah but failed miserably, it had about 100 tanks destroyed + helicopter + 148 soldiers killed + 100's soldiers injured (some seriously) + the two kidnapped Israeli soldiers (the whole war started over) were not rescued + Israel pushed the UN to rush a cease-fire as it was coping it HARD. Israel was shocked by the strength of Hezbollah!!? It thought a bunch of ill equipped, ill trained men can't do Israel (backed by the US) much damage!! It left out an important factor my friend!! Its called faith, Hezbollah fighters are devoted men that truly believe in god (the one and only), they believe in justice, dignity, pride, honour and for that god stood by their side!! I think this little slap Israel coped is a wake up call!! Israel has been for years living in a dream?!!! Soon it will wake up to find out how ugly reality is. That day is coming my friend... God bless

First - Hezbollah is not strong enough to bother either one if they decide to attack Iran.

Second - to Assmouth, you are well named! Hezbollah destroyed 100 tanks in a single day? Are you stupid enough to believe that? Israel was 20 miles into Lebanon, and the brave Hezbollah fighters were hiding in cellars. Last official count was three tanks destroyed and about 10 damaged. They must treat you guys like mushrooms, keep you in the dark and feed you full of sh*t

You sir are obliviously a "Muslim" in which case there is no
point continuing with any rationally based explanation.

Iran will undoubtedly be hit...has to be. It's academic whose missiles or "combination-cocktail international mix" is employed..whether it's 2 Missiles from UK and another 4 from the USA an about 26 from Israel and so... but Iran, "is" going down.

Yes...But 'cos they needed a stronger reason to attack Iran, other than their nuclear program...All we have heard during this conflict is how the rockets fired in Israel by Hezbollah are from Iran...Hezbollah (in US and Israel's opinion) is a terrorist organization...Therefor Iran is supporting terrorism so it must be attacked...I guess they never expected the strong response from Hezbollah...

I feel you are absolutely WRONG!!!

You have to see who started the fight, it was Hezbollah, with that kidnapping jig. Israel/USA did not start it. they had no intentions of fighting with Hezbollah, but hezbollah provoked them. So Israel had to attack.

But thanks to the UN they could not destroy Hezbollah
