Well there are more than a few towns in Jamacia but i figure you are talking about ocho rios or monteago bay. I have been to Ohco Rios and the beach was nice where I went but we were on a Cruise so we bought a package. Be careful my friends got followed by a guy named tony that really wanted to give them a ride....

We took a cruise and stopped in Jamaica for a day. We were warned by the cruise director that there are certain streets that tourists do not want to go on because it's very dangerous. My husband and I took a walk up the first street we came to and were going to walk down another block but the people there looked weird, drugged and mean. We turned back and hired a taxi to take us on a 2 1/2 hour tour and saw all the sights of Montego Bay. I think you should arrange something like that to be on the safe side.

I'm not saying that you do any drugs, but here is a warning I got from a friend.
Don't buy any drugs or pot there. The dealers turn you into the police for the reward and the police fine you a lot. It's one way they like to make money.
