Do you think it will bring something good to Malaysia and Asian football scenario. Did Malaysia will become a champion or even if they lose, at least they will fight like a warrior, not just a schoolboys standard. If i'm not mistaken (correct me if i'm wrong), most of the team sent their under 23's. Even Japan and Korea which is Malaysia top rival in last few decades and other Middle East like Arab Saudi, Kuwait, Qatar, Iraq and Iran whose has performed in the tournament did not show any interest-pandang sebelah mata pun tak mahu.
So did this PestaBola Merdeka give the Malaysian audience any passionate to go to the stadium. I see the crowd is only from Indonesian supporter during Malaysian Indonesian match.

i don't see any improvement in the future for our football standard, in fact it could get even worst ! just look at how those so call national player, their performance are far worst than any of the estate's team ! SHAME on them ! even the basic skill of controlling/passing the ball also teruk, no body is going to waste money[buy ticket] to get torture by those clown ! i love football, local or international, but i can't even remember a single player's name today. If FAM can retain the player/team for a longer period, concentrate on improving their standard/skill, i am very sure Malaysia mesti BOLEH !

malaysian football is going nowhere as long as the current management still at the helm. this is what i observed from various chat with people. they are not professional. believe me. we have millions of ringgit for football but why cant we far better than most african country? please think. FAM is not professional. the sultan should step down and give the presidency to someone who can lift the image of malaysian football back to its glory days. we have the talent, but they go nowhere. too much politiking. i hate f@#kface ibrahim saad. bloody bald old man
