1. a no ball and a six=7 runs
2. taking 3 runs and then the fielder overthrows the ball ,and the ball goes for the boundary.so 3 runs of running + 4 runs of over throws =7 runs

in both of the above cases total comes to 7 which is more than 6 but the batsmen get only six runs in case (1) and three runs in case (2). So the answer is " NO".

There are multiple combinations:
1. If the batsman hits the ball and the ball goes out of boundary, then maximum 6 runs can be scored to his personal score.
2. If the batsman hits the ball and the ball goes out of boundary and its a no ball, then 1 run will be awarded to the team and maximum 6 runs can be scored to his personal score.
3. If the ball is still in the ground, batsmen can exchange the ends as many times as they can unless the ball is near the stumps.

Infinite !!
f a batsman hits a ball for a six on a noball then 6 + 1= seven can be added to is total.
If a batsman takes three runs and overthrow goes over a boundary then 3+4 = 7 runs will added to his total. But for isntance while throwing the ball the ball slips form the fielders hands and goes over the rops behind him then its only 4 runs.
If the fielder trwos the ball and it crosses the ground to the opther side of the gound then its 3 runs + 4 overthrows.
If overthrow contines then infinite runs can be added. ofcourse this thing cannot happen in professional cricket.

If a batsmen hits a six Maximum 6 runs will go to batsmens credit but if its a now ball then one run will also be added to extras and teams total, in this case it would be 7.

Yes. If the batsman hits a six and if the ball is a noball or wide. Then 7 runs will be scored in that ball. But there is a problem, the run for the wide will be added as extras and only 6 runs will be added to batsman's score.

it can go on for ever........

There was a case where a batsman picked a 3 and then there was an over through which went for a boundary.
So 7 runs were scored of that ball.

Seriously a 6 is what any batsman can in a single correct ball.

It can't be counted yaar bcoz if a bowler goes on balling NO-BALLS , batsmen cud score as many as he wish. For eg - If Brett lee bowls 2 no-balls simultaneously and sachin scored two 6's in it,sachin wud get 12 runs in 0 balls n Inda wud get 14 runs in zero balls. GOT IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!1

maximum is 49. When the bowler made a no ball a run is awarded and if the batsman hits a six it's counted as 7. If repeated six times then u will see that he got 49 runs.
