I've tried all the normal things and suggested counselling, but thats a no. It feels like I am flogging a dead horse.

It takes two people to make a marriage. And if one won't try, what's the point?
It has to come from both of you. Why don't you try some ground rules? Be nice. No rudeness, no sarcasm.
Then try an outing that you will both enjoy. A concert. A day at the beach - somethingyou both want to do. Sky diving?
Try a meal you both want to eat. Try to talk. Discuss things on the news, without fighting naturally. Make an effort to communicate. I was surprised one day when I realised that I expected my husband to read my mind and know things.
From you previous posts you look at though you're unhappy. I do't know if you've got children. If you have, please don't go chasing after a rainbow.
If you haven't you must decide if this is where you want to be. Good luck.
It will be hard at first - you'll feel like you are play acting. But given time, it will become second nature.

I have a few suggestions. Some are contradicting, but may prove results. First, maybe there is something missing from years ago. Did you go places like concerts or have a few drinks and hop in the backseat of the Chevrolet? Maybe it is time to try those old fun times or try new ones. Dress up like a nurse and cme to bed. Casually walk down the hall dressed up and see if he notices. I am single, but have heard this before. Please excuse my forwardness, but when women gain weight after marriage...that is surely a turn off. I do not mean to offend you. Maybe if you do something for him that he would not expect. Using YOUR money, buy him something you know he wants. Does he like sports or have a shop? A small refrigerator for the garage may be a reason for him to give a few extra hugs and kisses...and more....try some of these.

I'ts not the easiest thing to admit but maybe your marriage is over and you need to move on. But you need to think long and hard about what you want before you make some decisions.

Not easy - been there, done that and still doing it but now i'm going to be doing it my way!

Do you remember that new love feeling. You are all giddy and you thought about that person all day. You would go out of your way for little gifts for them. You hold hands and kiss in public.
Try to act like that.

Surprisingly, exercise makes you feel better all over. It clears your head, makes you feel better, increases your sex drive, makes you healthier, helps fight depression, and you can lose weight at the same time. Maybe you will see everything from a different perspective.

happiness comes from within. Take care of yourself before you take care of those that you love.

Take a trip.
