A white dwarf is a star:

Pluto is a dwarf planet. This has just been decided.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pluto
Even though it is a dwarf planet, and perhaps considered to be white, I would say that by the normal understanding of "white dwarf" in astronomy it would not qualify.
Hope that helps.

Pluto is not a white dwarf. A white dwarf is a type of star that occures when a star such as the sun is dying and throws off it's outer layers of gas. Pluto is not a planet either according to the new definition of planet. So what is Pluto and why isn't it a planet?
Pluto is a small icey/rocky world in an oval shaped orbit around the sun which is slightly tilted. It's thought that it originated in the Kuiper Belt, a belt of ice chunks and other debris which surrounds the outer solar system. It's thought that Pluto somehow got flung inward and was "captured" by the sun's gravity.
In contrast, Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune formed at about the same time in more or less the orbits they are still in (with some variation) from a disk of debris which surrounded the sun in the early solar system.

No it is not. The reason is this, Pluto is a Planet, but a white Dwarf is what is left after a star (in Pluto's case, the Sun) Expands to become a red giant killing all life on earth (not very nice) It then implodes to something tiny called a white dwarf.

Pluto is a planet! Pluto is the smallest planet that we know today. its orbit is not the same as the earth's orbit for it's a little it slanted. It is the 9th planet from the sun.
the estimated time that it revolves around the sun is 247.7 years, while the time of it's rotation on ti's axis is 6 days, 9 hours, and 17 minutes.
hope this helps you!

I was in a plutonic relationship with a white dwarf. But he didn't like being called white. Go figure.
No seriously, Pluto has just been demoted. Walt Disney would be turning in his cryonic chamber.

No. A white dwarf is basically a kind of old star.
(And I'm not sure talking about dwarfism and race is even politically correct. Lol.)
