well, its the people here that make it great.. and the fact that at any time of day, you've got somethin u can do...
good variety of people, food, entertainment... and u don't need to drive miiiiiiiiiiles away to get to a grocery store! nor do u run the risk of gettin mugged if you take off by foot, as is the case in most of the US
all in all, you're not chained to ur house and the car, you have more freedom and therefore more fun!

-I wouldn't like to live there- way too expensive... but it's a nice place to visit- well the UK in general is
-they're so many different cultures because the UK used to have lots of colonies and still after these became independent, many people from those former colonies immigrated to the UK
Also, in the UK you don't need an ID, as long as you aren't travelling you don't need a passport either, this means, that once one gets in the UK, it's really hard to get him, and he'll most likely be able to stay
-for the celebs it's just a way too show that they're rich

I was thinking about moving there because there are a lot of good jobs so I went and spent a week there. I couldn't believe how crazy it was there and how expensive. It was an interesting city to visit but it was so crowded and everyone seems like they are in such a horrible mood so it can't be that great of a place to live.

If you have celebrity money, anyplace can be great. I think Madonna made it trendy, but I've lived there, and trust me, on an ordinary person's salary, it's not so wonderful.
