My girlfriend is very happy girl. She likes joy.She catched a medium-size alive grasshoper in the field. That grasshoper was happily jumping aroumd the field. We observed him.Immediately she told me:"look, what I will do now" and she put the grasshoper into her mouth, closed her mouth very slowly and swallowed the grasshoper alive and harmlessly. She put her hand on the buttom of her throat and it was gone . . . the grasshoper slided down her throat. She smiled and opened her mouth, it was empty. Then she put her hand on her tummy and told me with a smile that grasshoper is now here. Then she told me not to worry because she would easily digest it but I am afraid, isn't it dangerous? Will she really easily digest him?And second question; I also feel sorry for poor grasshoper she will die in a few minutes and should ask her to vomit him?She told me that if I will ask she will vomit him but I don't know what to do. 5-7 minutes passed after it so please explain and suggest something quickly please

Nope. Don't worry. Your girl friend is more dangerous to the grasshoper. It would be dead by now in her stomach because of the stomach acids! :) I hope you have better things to do with your girl friend then feeding her grass hopers!

I have eaten my share of hoppers in survival schools and they are completely harmless and actually don't taste bad. Normally you rip off the back legs because they will stick on the way down but they are pretty tasty. Try one and stop being such a pansy! Cowboy up and eat a bug you sissy!

The hopper is already dead. And if your GF swallowed something that may be covered in pesticides, herbicides, filth and disease...yeah that may be dangerous. The hopper itself won't be dangerous, but what it's carrying may not be the healthiest thing for her.

No, people used to actually eat chocolate covered grasshoppers. She'll digest him fine, but he'll die. They are not poisonous. I agree, your girlfriends kind of odd.

The grasshopper is dead and your girl is a dummy!! Acids in her stomach will take care of her little pet in a matter of minutes.

You do realize that there are cultures around the world who eat them on a regular basis intentionally. If it was poisonous, and some are, she would have thrown it up already.

The acids in her stomach will completly kill the grasshopper along with any germs it carries. Don't worry about it f*ck the grasshopper.

Although she has an odd sense of humor, she'll be fine. The grasshopper is history. She should be on one of those stupid but profitable, "Reality" shows.
