i have got the atesr download of yahoo messenger and ppl say u can send txt messages using it but how???

go to lycos.co.uk and they will let u text from web to Uk free but for limited numbers or get registered with sms.ac.uk and hope u can msg for free but "there is nothing in this world for free'

You can use skype. It is free. Works with all networks. I even send sms to mobiles (cellphones in the USA) abroad on it :-)
Dont know if you can use it from a mobile phone..I only use it from my computer to mobile phones
