I went to buy a movie a few days ago that was called 666 and my mom had a fit...It's means the mark of the beast. People think the word is evil or means something evil.

In the book of revelations the number 666 is described as the sign of the great beast. It's supposed to be the representant of the devil on earth!

They've said for awhile now that 666 isn't the mark of the beast. For some reason, people maybe don't know about the 616 thing.

because, as the bible said, it is the number of the devil. same goes with number 13 in some parts of the world.
Urban legends has it that 666 and 13 put in any thing or business is destined for the glory of the cevil, so many people especially superstitious ones avoid these numbers

If you're a christian, you gotta read ur bible. It's in the book of Revelation, the mark of the beast. Anti-Christ will reign the earth after the second coming of Jesus Christ. There will be years of tribulation and those that were not taken to rapture and were left behind can not buy anything unless they will accept the mark of the beast, and you know what's going to happen.

it was made up by a crazy monk in something like 1500ad and it just stick, there is no mention in the bible or other things, its just made up
