There is Cetaphil. It is a hypoallergenic soap you can use all over your body and in your hair and not even have to rinse. I would also suggest baby shampoo. The head to toe kind. Wet your hair with a wash cloth and put the soap in. Then use the wash cloth to rinse till the soap is out. Depending how long your hair is, it should be relatively easy. All you need with that of course is just a bucket of water with the wash cloth.

Sit in front of the sink with your head back, and have a friend wash it for you. (like in a salon) You said you can only sit in a chair for 20 min. That should be plenty of time to get your hair cleaned and make it back to bed before it gets too painful. I hope everything gets better for you.

The sell certain types of shampoo for people who are stuck in bed, and you can get them at medical supply stores...I wouldn't use them all the time, ...but until you get to where you can have someone help you sit in a wheel chair and back your head in to a sink..or even get someone to take you to a salon and wash it for you...once in a while might make you feel better. Good luck

take a chair to the sink and get a large plastic cup and shampoo and towel fill the cup with warm water and get the hair wet wash quickly then rinse and towel dry this should only take 10-15 minutes at the most, do you have health insurance that will cover a visiting nurse that can wash your hair, cook your meals and do light housework? check into it and good luck

you can't hop into the bathroom in that 30 seconds? i know people that broke thier upper leg bone and still managed to get into the bathroom. get someone to help you, have them get one of those removable shower heads and you should be able to sit next to the shower and lean your head in.
another thing, if you have a removable cast you can just take it off and get in the tub. if not, then get in the tub as much as possible and wrap a garbage bag around that cast and keep it out of the water. i know many people that have taken baths with broken legs.

Pharmacy sells dry shampoo especially for people who cannot wash hair in the traditional way. You apply it and it lathers...towel dry and brush...your hair will look and smell clean and fresh

Have one of your friends bring like a bucket of water and have you dunk your head in it. Something like that. Just be creative.
