My ex is from another country and he help one of his family members come to the usa but he has to marry her for her to stay her in the country. But he want to divorce her when she get her green card and he is a american citizen. In his culture they marry in to there family but anyways she came her with him and they got married only of convenience to get a green card. But before he decide to do this he told me that he doesnt want to be with her and he told her this also that he was only going to help her nothin more so he told me that he want to be with me and that he loves me but I want to be with him also but I don't know what to do because she know that he is seeing me that way. I told him when he said this to me how do I know that you are not doing anything with her or if you will he said he has no plains to because he doesnt want to be with her like that only want to help her. I was with him for 5 yrs before he did this. what should i do????????????

Are you sure that divorce is accepted in his culture? If he's Asian, Asian people don't accept divorce, in that case, marriage is forever, no matter if it's for convenience. Talk to him, ask him how much should you wait for him in case he wants to get married? The green card is given after at least 3 years of marriage I think. In 3 years, lots of things can happen and he can not make you wait for him for so long when he's in love with you and when he knows you adore him. Or he can marry that girl, bring her in the States, but live with you only. That girl should be like a relative that he is seing very rarely, not like a wife. Tell him this, if he wants to live with that girl until she gets the green card (which who knows how long it takes), you'll move on and find a suitable partner for marriage cause you can not accept such thing. Maybe his mind is clear if he knows he could lose you by acting this way.
