If you bothare using a pc running something like msn meesenger or skype then Voice over IP (VoIP) is free, it only costs money when you try to ring a landline or mobile phone.
This is in the right section as it has to do with internet related call's.
Anti-spy programs like yahoo's are to be trusted and should not harm your computer in any way shape or form. They are there to protect your computer.

AS long as ur not calling a physical phone number , all internet based voice communications are free of cost, regardless of whether u use Yahoo, MSN or Skype or something else to communicate. The only cost u pay is ur internet charges.

If you use the telephone, it cost the toll call rate.
If you both are using a computer, (Yahoo messenger) it is free.

im from the philippines. as long as you use internet based voip (skype, msn, yahoo) it is free.
