as a indian i know how it feels. Bet remember, if you both are together then no one can apart you. Only you two should have courage to face the world and any circumstances that may occer. I personally had this situation but now it fine.

You haven't mentioned what your approximate ages are or how long you have known each other. This makes it difficult to render an answer.
If your relationship is real love, and you are sure of this, and you have known each other long enough my answer would be to talk to his parents as to why they don't want you to be married. Maybe it is something else other than your caste system. Have his parents told you this personally or has the object of your affection told you what his parents say? I would suggest you both talk to his parents and ask for their blessing. If they don't give it, then if you love each other, get married.

It's hard to believe that his parents are so self centered that their happiness and needs are more important than their son's happiness. Shame on them. They should let him follow his heart.

is he well earning by himself, if yes then ditch the parents. this is an example of why american system is better. where the castes system is just ridiculous.
