Let us remember that "Christ" is the key word to "Christmas" and everytime we spell Christmas as "xmas", we X out "Christ". also, it is God who teaches us to give, by giving us His only begotten Son. and His Son gave His life for all. So we teach our children by this "loving" example that God, and His Son "Jesus" has given, to show the whole world His unselfish love,,,wheather they believe and receive it or not.

I love Christmas, Santa or not. It's the celebration of Jesus' birth and following the teachings of Him that I'm all about. For the past couple of years my family has not given presents. We save our money and help out a local family or 2 struggling to make ends meet! Quite the rewarding experience!

Yes, I would still enjoy and rejoice, but think about it. Santa Clause is a tradition associated with the giving spirit of Christmas; it is the commercial aspect of Santa that has gotten out of hand. Even with that said Christmas is celebrated by almost everyone and is the only association some have with Christ. That is to say many people are introduced to Christianity though the act of celebrating Christmas by this tradition (Santa). I really don’t think that LAWFULLY BANNED and CHRISTMAS should be spoken together. Although many may shrug off the true meaning of Christmas, they never the less acknowledge it even if it is through Santa. Witness is the key not legislature. If we keep making laws there will be no freedom. I vote to Keep the tradition, Witness to and educate the children. Let commercialism drown in its own greed! As Jesus is my savior, I humbly convey these thoughts to you.

You are a fool. Christmas is not all about Christ. It is a holiday that was stolen from the pagans. The christians wanted to convert them so they let them have some of their traditions by a new name. Christmas is based on yule, the christmas tree was always brought into the house to represent the earth at this time, the lights you put up around your house is directly linked to the times when pagans/celts would burn great fires during the yule tide to wrad off evil spirits. It's funny how so many other religions are educated on the christian faith but it does not go the other way

Santa is a way we teach our child it is better to give than recieve. But in truth our children have been out of touch. The idea of santa is giving without giving anything back. Generiosty is the key word of christmas but you would not loose anything with or without Santa. Santa is nice. But we would still give gifts. It is the one time of the year parnets can go nuts and buy things they wanted as kids and can't have :P

Oh yes, personally I think santa is lusifer himself, but that is besides the point. So yes we have Christmas without santa and it is a lot of fun. All the children dress up and give the grownups a concert of the birth of Christ. We sing carols and spend quality time together as a family.

santa is not even connected to Cristmas for me.

Of Course, Christmas is more than gifts, food, and suprises. Christmas is about family, love and caring. Santa is mostly for children but his symbol is also an important part.

Santa is only for children, and it's through them that we derive so much pleasure from having him. But always in our mind should be the REAL reason for celebrating Christmas...the Birth of Christ.

I would love for Christmas to be banned for any reason. I hate Christmas .
It is supposed to celebrate Christ's birth but he was not born on Dec. 25. And it is the most hypocritical holiday!!! People buy gifts for people they don't even speak to or even see for the rest of the year. And crazy people feign some type of Christian attitude for a few weeks and on Dec. 26, they are right back to the evil person they are the rest of the year.
It's total BS!

I don't celebrate Christmas, I celebrate Yule/Solstice.
I'd enjoy the season regardless. When the lawmakers can actually get in my head and change my mind is the only time they will be able to stop me from believing what I believe or celebrating/honoring what I wish.
