Hologram projectors are not commercially available, unfortunately.
They are made only in laboratories.
You need first a huge stable table (it cannot vibrate at all), and a lot of optical instruments and devices. Total cost a few 1000$.
Then you need optic's knowledge (that you can gain from the web or at University).
Then you can play.
When you have done one, you will realise that it is not so fantastic after all, and still far from the "holodeck".
One of the solution, however, is to use standard PC screens, and a very complex program you have to design yourself.
Instead of displaying an image on the screen, you program the computer to "trace" the scattering vectors that a hologram projects and there you are! You will see "through" the screen a picture in relief...
But that program is beyond the knowledge of all programmers I know, including myself.
Maybe in 10-20 years?
