is it just me..or should people just stop making movies..i mean..it seems like there running out of ideas and just are taking different movie scenes and making them into there own? ..or are trying to redo movies without anyone knowing, but are doing a horrible job at it because they all seem the same..

Yep, it seems every movie that comes out is a remake or a sequel. Surely someone in Hollywood has some imagination and originality.

Movies are basically interpretations of Human lives and their emotions and the regular incidents they go through or envisioning of their dreams into virtual reality. Now, there are not many plots available around and also there are only like about 9 emotions that can be displayed by any human being. thus making the spectrum of movie making into limited ability. so, the onus of making something new falls into the hands of the film-makers and they try to work out details of sometimes real and sometimes far fetched from the real world. whatever it is, a movie is successful only when it touches strings inside you.
Coming to not finding something variety in movies, I ask you one thing... How many lives in this world are different from one another??? the routine of life is same for everyone.. you are born you grow up.. you either educate or you dont.. you work for a living (honest or dishonest) you crave for love/sex/money whatever matters to you the most.. and you want to become successful.. thus its all the same in everyone's life.. so movies are also the representations of visions of different creators.. !! thus limiting it to same band in the spectrum. the point is.. a movie will be successful if you are able to present a routine point differently. thats about it.!!

Making movie is not just primarily for making money. It is an art. Maybe you are just looking at commercial movies. There are some movies don't have the sense of originality. Every human in this world is an artist. We could be an artist in many things. Some could be and artist of death (just kidding). People like Speilberg, Lucas, Burton, Cameroon have passion for maing movies. All of them trying to paint their greatest master piece.

no man are you alright!!! i couldn't live without watching movies!! well, i don't watch too much but just think about it, when you get bored, don't you just put on the tv and watch something??? everyone does that, it is a part of life
