We entered a recession in 2001 and exited the recession in 2002.
And we have experienced positive growth since then, so no, we aren't in a recession currently.

The stock market gives an indication of what the economy is like.
How do you define recession?
What is the jobless rate?
How many are needing soup kitchens, welfare assistance?
What is the median salary?
How is the income distribution among the rich, middle class and poor?
What is the cost of living?
What is the consumer price index?
What is the inflation rate?
There are many things to consider besides the term recession...

most just lie but to ordinary people recession has been threatening as far back as one can see and still rising just look at the increase in all things except wages u almost have to be a millionaire to live...this is inflation the greatest cause in the confuent system pushing recession to greater heights tell the truth the more i think about it the more it depresses me hah ha

yes its in recession after the World Trade Center attacks the economy began to decline. That's why there's the war in Iraq.

currently the performance mainly reflect the true productivity and so on, bubble is little, but further too fast growth will be just like a cattle fed by hormanes
