You can have up to 50 toons(characters) on your account at any time. Just remember that you can't have a horde and an alliance toon on the same PvP server. Everything else is fair game.

I played world of warcraft and have many friends that do. I have one friend in specific that has about 2 of every class there is... so that is equal to about 14 or so..... i wouldnt worry about exceeding the max.... good luck with it though... also if you play in a PvP server you will not be able to create toons on both sides... the alliance and the horde so you may want to take that into consideration.... also if you want another hint i would suggest getting SWG (star wars galaxies) because WoW (world of warcraft) is very repeditive after a while even at lvl 60... anyhow good luck!

You can have as many accounts as you want, as long as you actively play them all. (It's illegal to use hacks or third-party programs to level for you, etc.)

However, in order to create a new account you have to buy another game at full price. That means 1 account per game you purchase.

Edit: You can actually have up to 50 characters per account on World of Warcraft, and you can permanently delete characters at any time in case you're coming close to your limit.

Well, on one account you can have 10 characters. (Somewhere close to that) but you can have as many accounts as you pay blizzard for. But it will stack up the amount you have to pay per month. 15 dallor USD fee per month.

This is why private WoW servers were made. Viva la free WoW!
