A yogurt smoothie:
2 cups of plain yogurt (frozen over night)
1/4 cup of slivered almonds or chopped walnuts
2 tablespoons of wheat germ
sweetener to taste
splash of vanilla flavoring
water or milk to make pouring consistency
Put nuts in blender first. While chopping, thaw yogurt slightly in microwave. Put all the ingredients in the blender. Yum.

Strawberry and banana smoothie...either made with milk or fruit juice ...apple or orange ..doesn't matter ..but I find this drink to be like that of a healthy quick breakfast / without being over a hot stove.....and kids love 'em.
