Do you mean that you can't hear anything in voice conference, but you can hear music from your computer (the sound card is working ok)? This normally means that you or the people on the other end have an issue with a firewall/NAT.

You'll need to post what voice conferencing software you are using. If you are using a router/firewall, check the manufacturers homepage for more information on setting it up for VoIP.

Probably you never click on the button which says enable hands free..............try checking that box. This might solve ur problem and also check if ur speaker or microphone are not mute....in ur messenger box.

I really dont know perhaps it's because people talk softer and your hearing is affected and you've only just noticed..

are you wearing a hearing aid if so turn it down slightly it cuts out background
