it's a cotton satin. "Satin" is a fabric weave (rather than a fiber), which leaves long threads "floating" on the right side of the fabric. That makes the fabric smooth and silky and nice against your skin.

Like satin. Cotton, or sometimes rayon. They brushed the fabric to give it a satin feel and look.
