To hold bolts(or whatever) in a socket while you are trying to get it in/out of a tight place,I saw some magnets that go inside of the socket, but they are from 10mm to 19mm
I need something for smaller sizes that will hold onto it pretty good for a little while so I get it in or out of a thight place,no room for anything but a extension bar with a socket on it
I tried some tape but it didn't hold good enough
Thank for any help

they make these really cheap metal wires that curl up at the the end so that you can stick a bolt onto them and they hold them in place. I used one for putting a hicth on my truck. You could probably make it yourself out of some thin but strong wire. try a wire coat hangar and some duct tape. If you describe what you are doing in more detail maybe I can offer better advise.

i do this all the time. get an old rag cut a piece place over the head of the bolt and press into socket. works every time.
