there once was a girl with bright red shoes,
who took all my money n drank all my booze.
she lost her cherry but thats not a sin,
shes still got that box that the cherry came in :P

A poem I posted to my husband once ..
My hair covers most of my face
All the long red locks tilt just so
Just to touch my skin
So you can’t see
The big eyes and shy smile
But its the way I want it.
Hidden Emotions.
So you can't see
That those big eyes
Are filled with so much fear and doubt
With many insecurity and anger
of every feeling imaginable.
Hidden Emotions.
I know that you hide too
We all hide for a reason
We all have our ways
Mine is I have my hair
Hidden Emotions.
It covers my lips
That smile you love
In obligation
And in hope to look pretty
Gently peaking through the strands that cover my face
This and so much more.
Hidden Emotions.
and then this was his response -
My hand outstretched towards your face
Touching the long red locks just so
Brushes them behind your ear
So I can see
Your big eyes and radiant smile
Because you are so gorgeous
Share with me
So I can see
As your big eyes
Share so much doubt and fear
Releasing anger and insecurity
From every feeling imaginable
Share with me
It reveals your lips
That smile with love
In want
And is so much beauty
Boldly shining with the strands behind your ear
This and so much more
Share with me
Hugs Mel ..

I Carry Your Heart by E.e. Cummings
i carry your heart with me(i carry it in
my heart)i am never without it(anywhere
i go you go,my dear; and whatever is done
by only me is your doing,my darling)
i fear
no fate(for you are my fate,my sweet)i want
no world(for beautiful you are my world,my true)
and it's you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you
here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;which grows
higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart
i carry your heart(i carry it in my heart)

My favorite all time poem is "She being brand" by E.E. Cummings. The link is below. I love all of his poems.
"She being brand" is about making love to a woman but its writen like you are driving a car. It is a very masculine analogy about something so poeticly hot.

1. Where The Mind is Without Fear - by Rabindra Nath Tagore
Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high
Where knowledge is free
Where the world has not been broken up into fragments
By narrow domestic walls
Where words come out from the depth of truth
Where tireless striving stretches its arms towards perfection
Where the clear stream of reason has not lost its way
Into the dreary desert sand of dead habit
Where the mind is led forward by thee
Into ever-widening thought and action
Into that heaven of freedom, my Father, let my country awake
2. The Light of Other Days - Thomas Moore. 1779-1852
OFT, in the stilly night,
Ere slumber's chain has bound me,
Fond Memory brings the light
Of other days around me:
The smiles, the tears
Of boyhood's years,
The words of love then spoken;
The eyes that shone,
Now dimm'd and gone,
The cheerful hearts now broken!
Thus, in the stilly night,
Ere slumber's chain has bound me,
Sad Memory brings the light
Of other days around me.
When I remember all
The friends, so link'd together,
I've seen around me fall
Like leaves in wintry weather,
I feel like one
Who treads alone
Some banquet-hall deserted,
Whose lights are fled,
Whose garlands dead,
And all but he departed!
Thus, in the stilly night,
Ere slumber's chain has bound me.
Sad Memory brings the light
Of other days around me.

A SEA HORSE and a Saw Horse
Saw a see-saw one day;
Said the Sea Horse to the Saw Horse,
"See here, Saw Horse, say,
Can you see-saw with a Sea Horse?"
"Saucy Sea Horse," said the Saw Horse,
"To see-saw with a Sea Horse
For me is only play."
Then the Sea Horse and the Saw Horse
Climbed the sea-saw with pride.
Both the Sea Horse and the Saw Horse
Were determined to ride,
So the see-saw saw the Sea Horse,
And the Sea Horse saw the Saw Horse,
And see-sawed Saw and Sea Horse,
One perched upon each side.
So the Sea Horse and the Saw Horse
First "seed" and then "sawed"
Both Sea Horse and Saw Horse
On the long see-saw board,
Till the Saw Horse said, "Sea Horse,
A see-sawing Saw Horse
And a saucier Sea Horse
Have never see-sawed!"

Mine is called Love you forever
I love you so deeply,
I love you so much,
I love the sound of your voice,
And the way that we touch,
I love your smile
And your kind, thoughtful way,
The joy that you bring
To my life everyday.
I love you today
As I have from the start,
And I'll love you forever
With all of my heart.

Resume by Dorothy Parker
Razors pain you
Rivers are damp
Acid stain you and
Drugs cause cramp
Guns aren't lawful
Nooses give
Gas smells awful
You might as well live
